'Up ahead! It's getting closer!' shouted one of the sailors.
'Well then, what are you waiting for? Get to the cannons!' shouted Long John Silver.
When one of the sailors climbed on the mast to get a better view, he saw what it was. 'It's a seamonster!' he screamed in terror.
The seamonster got closer and closer. It was black with green eyes and a spiky mane around its head.
'Fire!' yelled Long John Silver. But the sailors kept missing because it was too fast as it moved through the water. It smashed its tail onto the deck. The tail had a big spike on the end of it. It landed directly on a sailor, who was crushed under its weight.
Suddlenly a big wave came along and both the ship and seamonster were swept away. Where would the wave take them?
I suppose the story doesn't end there..can't wait for more..!
